Gender Equality Awards 2020

Join us for our Gender Equality Awards 2020 Tue, October 20, 2020 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM CDT

Presenting UN Women USA Chicago's signature dinner and fundraiser, in its first-ever virtual format. And in this pivotal year, we proudly honor individuals and organizations that have boldly taken a stand for equality and justice---even in the face of a global pandemic.

We will count with D-Composed, a Chicago-based chamber music experience that honors Black creativity and culture through the music of Black composers and Thompson Street Opera, opera company invested in social justice, safe spaces for critical conversations and gender equity, as our amazing music performances. We will also count with Jeanette Andrews, internationally hailed as one of the most innovative illusionists and artists today.

Stay posted for our silent auction details, as all our donations for the night will be dedicated in its entirety to Covid relief on gender based violence and pay inequity, specifically for programs in Bangladesh and Colombia.
We are featuring our signature Gender Equality Awards meal provided by Barrio Restaurant! You can order in advance to have it on the day of the event!
