Our Work

Cities for CEDAW

Cities for CEDAW is a nationwide, grassroots effort to encourage local governments to become more gender equitable.

End Violence Against Women and Girls

Violence against women and girls has many forms ranging from domestic partner violence to sexual harassment and assault, female genital mutilation, trafficking, and child marriage.

Gender Equal Pay

The gender pay gap is the difference between what men and women are typically paid. Research shows that across demographics and workplaces women are consistently paid less than men around the world.

HeForShe is a solidarity movement which provides a systematic approach and a targeted platform on which men and boys can engage and become change agents towards the achievement of gender equality.

Women in Climate Change

According to UN Women, climate change requires a gendered response. In the aftermath of the disasters, women and girls, especially in developing countries, are disproportionately vulnerable to greater risks.

Women in Peace & Security

Women’s participation in peace & security efforts contributes to more effective responses to today’s complex crises, & women play a critical but under-utilized role in preventing conflict and sustaining peace.
